I did try a dvd and the video performance seemed a bit scrambled too. I haven't tried the internal nic but it detects it along with firewire and the usb ports and dvd drive. <-pain in the ass!! also i cant get the native laptop monitor to work with acer's 915gm mb and intel's gma900(Mobile Intel® 915GM/GMS,910GML Express Chipset Family Video BIOS:1219) i would like to try to make it work but the forums have yet to come up with a simple solution yet. Installs fne only with a external monitor installed. (10.4.5 didnt like not having anydisks already mac formatted).

Install was fine for 10.4.5 altho i needed to use a 10.4.3 install disk to get to disk utility to format one of the partitions.
